The upcoming Nodos edition, ''Nodos: Bajío 2 | Perdidxs y curtidxs,'' will take place in León, Guanajuato, from September 28 to 30, 2023. It's a follow-up to last year's edition in San Luis Potosí, where they began discussing how violence affects artists in the region. This time, they're delving deeper into the topic and providing a platform for local artists to share their experiences and creativity. Here's the full information for the Event Calendar for those seeking more details on each day's events:

A theoretical-practical workshop on power dynamics in the cultural sphere and how we, as an artistic community, can confront inequality and violence exercised by institutional structures from situated and embodied spaces. The theoretical part will explore concepts like resistance, radical tenderness, affirmative potential, and nomadic subjectivity. The workshop will conclude with a series of performative actions, both individual and collective, aimed at placing the body in public space and building networks based on alternative possibilities.

Location: Naturamétrica / Barrio Refuge. Calle 27 de Septiembre #517, Col. Obregón or Barrio Arriba, León, Gto.

A collaborative cooking workshop where the act of cooking becomes an intimate space for sharing personal stories with collective political dimensions. The goal is to reclaim memory and create joint acts of resistance. Participants will cook a selection of recipes from the "Recipe Book for Memory," an anthology of recipes where mothers of missing persons evoke the memory of their absent loved ones. Alongside cooking, participants will create a platform to share the violence they experience and their strategies for resistance. The workshop will culminate in a communal meal for all participants.
